Dear Dallas County Voters,

I am working hard to see that justice is served in Dallas County, and I would be honored to have your support as I seek another term.

Judge Steve Seider


Judge Steve Seider received his law degree from the University of Houston Law School, in 1991.

Judge Steve Seider has been your Justice of the Peace for the past 11 years.

Married for 26 years to Angie Seider and blessed with four children-- Andrew, Allyssa Rae, Peter and Daniel.

In addition to working hard as your judge, Judge Seider has been honored, selected and volunteered for other important assignments that affect you, Dallas County and the Great State of Texas:

Appointed by the Supreme Court of Texas in February 2010 to a six-year term as a member of the State Commission on Judicial Conduct-- the Texas state agency responsible for investigating allegations of judicial misconduct and for disciplining judges;

Served as a proud member of the Texas Judicial Ethics Commission-- drafting judicial ethics opinions for publication to the Texas judiciary;

Serving as a faithful member of the Dallas County Criminal Justice Advisory Board and the Dallas County Bail Bond Board;

Presiding Judge and Court liaison for DART Community Court for the Homeless in conjunction with the Dallas Area Young Lawyers (DAYL) at the Stew-Pot in Downtown Dallas since 2008.

Selected to be a Mentor Judge-- providing additional education for fellow-judges as ordered by the State Commission on Judicial Conduct;

Volunteered as a Mentor for LAMP (Legal Advocates for Minors Project) 1997-2003;

Appointed to the Education Advisory Committee of the Texas Justice Court Training Center - 2010;

Appointed an Instructor for the Texas Justice Court Training Center;

Member of the Dallas County Truancy Task Force 1999-2001;

Board of Directors - Volunteer Center of Dallas County 2001-2007

Served as a tough Prosecutor for the Dallas County District Attorney's Office from 1992 to 1995

Attained the rank of Captain as a Field Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1983-1996
